Ways To Brand Yourself - Astute Tips and Methods
It's important to resonate with your audience. If you represent your business (or are a Personal Coach), you will want to do this effectively. What do I mean by this? Specifically, you should do things that help you STAND out. Activities such as podcasting (and video) can HELP you connect better with your audience than text on a page. When people can hear your tone of voice, and your inflections, they can perceive much more. They can tell if you're typically cheerful, if you're witty, sarcastic, empathetic etc. Whereas with writing on the page, one cannot. If you are wanting to establish a strong brand, then be sure and be consistent with your images (for instance, the image on LinkedIn should be identical to the image on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc. Otherwise your audience can get confused - or worse yet, they may FORGET who you are - and just what you represent. In summary, when it comes to pinpointing Ways To Brand Yourself, it's essential to be yourself & BE co

Beginners Wordpress: Tools for Online Marketers with Recurring Affiliate programs...
Recurring Affiliate Programs You can Benefit From
by Jan Ashby
Today I'd like to talk about recurring affiliate programs. These are fantastic for beginners to get involved with, as they provide a passive income (once you do the "work").
I have created a video that touches on this concept. For instance, there are tools which every online marketer must have. And tools are easier to market to people, generally speaking.
Many gurus and expert online marketers will verify this. It seems that people are fascinated with tools
- whether they are software tools, marketing tools, or power tools - think of Home Depot. The very reason Home Depot came into being was due to the DIY concept.
People love tools !
Now that we've established that, I will enlighten you further - an example of a software tool that has a recurring affiliate program is Aweber. Then there's Traffic-Wave (another A/R).
Traffic-Wave actually has additional components to it - such as the buster matrix. You can look into that at your leisure. For now, I'd like to invite you to see my video - it mentions a few key points, pertaining to Amazon affiliate program, SBI, and a health & beauty recurring affiliate program.
So if you've been wondering, "can I make money blogging?" .. well, the answer is a resounding "yes". Also, affiliate programs such as Adbeans, google adsense and womvegas are discussed.

Blogger Knowhow - Getting Started with Blogger
Hello. This post is a bit of an introduction on getting started with Blogger. Blogger has many nice features, such as the Google Plus +1 for social sharing.
Blogger has a new design and layout now, but if you ever wish to use the "old Blogger" you can follow this link to do so. Some people prefer the gadgets and visuals of the original design.
Now, in getting started with blogger, here is a good introduction (a video). The instructor speaks nice and slowly, and goes over each step at a nice pace for beginners. Anthony does a nice job here, and covers the basics - such as the ROW of Icons at the top of the editor.
A Very Helpful Resource for You: Beginners Guide to Blogger by Jan Ashby
At dummies.com, there are pictures (Screenshots) which help you in getting started. At this first reference I'll send you to, basics such as formatting your post (fonts, etc.) and other tips (your control panel, logging in e.g.) are elaborated upon.
The 2nd article is also from dummies.com - it is "How to Get Started with Google's Blogger" and not only has a nice intro on "Creating an account" and how to go about that, but also discusses Naming Your Blog and "Choosing a Template".
What's cool is at the bottom of the post, there are hyperlinks to many additional helps. I recommend THIS one - which will show you how to add images, how to add links and so on..
And if you ever need to add an image from another website, this brief tutorial shows you how.
Plus, there are other choices you have to make (such as determining whether readers can POST comments) - that would be found here

You will naturally want to look into premium Wp themes. Premium Wp themes such as Genesis theme provide shortcuts; for example, with Genesis you don't have to go inside WordPress and edit code within the PHP editor.
Instead, you are provided a plugin which makes the process of
editing easier.
Genesis theme is the theme that John Jarvis likes a lot. He also
likes Intrepidity theme, and suggests that WordPress beginners
use this theme first - before moving on to Genesis.

Creating your Own Blog: Free Blog Sites You may be attracted by free blog sites such as Weebly, Blogger, and many more - while these are okay to practice on, you should start with WordPress as soon as you can. Learn as much as you can. Set aside a block of time to learn the basics, and then begin to explore premium Wp themes; one of the reasons the Intrepedity is good for beginners is its ease of use. Keyword Research Training - Superior Instructional Videos From a Master
Wordpress for Beginners: Introducing Keywords to You
There is an instructor who really teaches this keyword stuff well. That is, it is good for beginners because he has a calm voice, and does not speak too quickly. His name is John Jarvis, and he is very knowledgeable about keyword research.
Today's brief post discusses how you can learn the basics simply by listening. Yes, you can sit in your chair, kick back & listen (and view) while John presents the material to you via video.
He instructs on how to find a keyword that will make you money. He touches on using the Google Adwords keyword external tool - so you'll get a introduction to that.
He shows you about which choices to select inside the Tool (such as the country - he usually chooses USA rather than Canada - as it has better traffic). Also, in the video ..the various columns are shown, and he discusses at length which ones to "checkmark", and he also SHOWS you how to copy your chosen keywords to the clipboard .
Additionally, he explains how to look at the competition and analyze it properly. In the end, you'll gain a good sense of what sort of keywords to go after!
Longtail Keywords: The Importance of These
A longtail keyword is 4 words or more - and yes, John covers this in the second video at THIS page. In case you didn't realize it, it is worthwhile to "drill down" and locate the longtail keyword because when a keyword phrase has many descriptors in it.. well, it generally means that the searcher is getting more determined & 'closer to a purchase'.
As you go along in his free video course (which consists of 5 short videos), he'll show you how it's important to HIDE personal results - i.e., in order to analyze competitors' websites (in say the Top 10 results on Google) you must first HIDE your own personal website results .
The basics of keyword research is explained in more detail here.
You'll have a better understanding and comprehension of the whole topic when you've gone through John Jarvis' excellent video tutorial training.
Thanks for listening and good luck,
Jan Ashby
